I recently bought an MKS DLC32 MAX with an LCD screen on your site. I would like to change the machine type of my MKS ESP-TFT35 V4.1 from LASER to CNC.

It appears that the available firmware is LASER only. On MKS's GitHub, the recent firmware versions also seem to be restricted to LASER. Additionally, I had to install two DM556 drivers on the Y-axis because the A-axis is not recognized by the TFT35.

Could you please help me find a solution or a compatible CNC firmware?

Hi,

There are two configurations you have to check:

1)$32, switch between CNC and Laser

2)$45, setup A as 2nd Y. 0: As Y axis, 1 as A, 2 as laser auto focus.

Hi,

Changing $32 value to 1 or 0 does not change anything.

Maybe there is something I'm doing wrong.

$32 is to enable or disable laser.   There is nothing different between 'Laser' and 'CNC' except Z axis function. LaserGrbl is for laser, you can test the 'CNC' from any CNC software for example: gSender, UGS or other simiar software.

I changed values from LaserGRBL. Is there another way?
