Bigger Shipping Savings Feature!
Some products in our store are categorized as “Standalone” products, which means they cannot be shipped together with larger items due to packaging considerations.
Since Canada is one of the largest countries in the world, shipping costs can vary significantly depending on the distance from our warehouse. For example, customers located closer to our warehouse should pay lower shipping fees.
Currently, 3D printer filament and filament dryers are assigned as standalone products. If filament is added to your shopping cart, larger products cannot be added to the same order. Conversely, if other larger products are already in your cart, you will not be able to add filament and will receive an error notification.
In fact, this approach helps customers located closer to our distribution center reduce their shipping costs.
For smaller products, there are no restrictions on purchasing them together with filament or filament dryers. For example, you can add 3D printer nozzles, heat-set inserts, hotends, fasteners, and other small items related to 3D printing projects to the same order.
But how do you find products that can be purchased together with filament?
There is an easy way: On the left-side menu of each page, look for the Tags section and click “Filament-Add.”
There you go! You will see products that can be added to the same order as filament and filament dryers.
Shipping Time
The system now only allows in-stock filament and filament dryers to be added to the shopping cart. Therefore, the shipping time for these products is approximately 3–7 days within Canada (Ground shipping).
However, there is no such restriction for products tagged “Filament-Add.” If you add an out-of-stock “Filament-Add” product to your order, the shipping time may be longer because the order will need to be shipped by Ground freight.
Please note: We cannot split a single order into multiple shipments. Therefore, adding an out-of-stock “Filament-Add” product may delay the shipment of the entire order.
